Preschool

At the community center we offer a variety of educational classes serving children through adults. Classes are available for all ability levels and cover a wide range of topics.

Some classes are drop-off and others are parent/child classes. Children must be potty trained to attend the drop off classes. Our classes promote children’s social, physical, and cognitive growth in a secure, creative and stimulating environment. Caring and experienced teachers design programs to meet the developmental needs of each class.

Our curriculum includes language, math, science, art, music, movement, and environmental education, using stories, songs, worksheets, experiments, circle time, games, activity centers, projects, sign language, and simple cooking, often coordinated into theme-based units.

Come Play with Me

Come check out the Community Center's indoor play gym. Drop in and let your little ones jump in our inflatable bounce house and play with our fun toys, while you enjoy a cup of coffee. Coffee provided by Poverty Bay. Parent participation is required.

Drop in fee is $3 per child.
Punchcards $30 for 10 punches, 11th FREE.

Hours: Monday and Friday at 9:30-11:30am; Fridays only June-August, starts June 15
